pops when backing up

Angry pops when backing up

hi everybody i just bought a 96 blazer i just put all new shocks and ball joints .but when i am backing up and turning i here a poping in the front driver side can anyone give me an idea whut to look 4 one shop said tie rods but tho"s are good to thanks

Im interested in the results of this..my 01 actually just started popping the other day when I make a hard turn (like pull in my driveway)..

If it's a 4wd my guess would be a cv shaft. How many miles on it? Check and see if you have a torn boot that has possibly caused the cv joint to "dry" out.

nope when i replaced the ball joint cheked the cv there good and my millage is 1300000

With 130k miles you may have a worn out or damaged cv shaft. Jack the front tires off the ground an turn the tire by hand. Also try it with the steering wheel turned each way. Listen and feel for anything "not smooth".
