The link in my 1st reply way up there has it pretty well covered...with pics..

BUT...thats for the 233 transfer case. I'm not sure if you have a different case. I would think that you have the 233 since there were only so many options on drivetrains....but hard to say as I have no 1st gen.

does anybody know what T Case i would have or is that something i would have to find out on my own by lookin under the vehicle?

You have the NV233 in its earliest form (not that things changed with the t-case itself).
