Default Possible leaking wheel cylinder??

I hope this isn't the wrong section, first post.

My question to all out there, who have had a similar issue, give me some clues or instructions to diagnose this problem or what it may be.
There is this weird leak on the bottom half of my rear dust cover.
it appears to be coming from where the rubber gasket is around where the emergency brake clips to.
A mechanic told me it's an axle leak, but the fluid is very dark and doesn't smell like anything at all, and I definitely know what diff fluid smells like lol.
I think I lost some brake fluid from my reservoir, i'll keep an eye on it, but I took some pictures :

Those are disc brakes, there are no wheel cylinders in there. The rear axle seal is leaking. The caliper, caliper bracket, and rotor must be removed. The differential cover must be removed, axle retainer removed, and the axles pulled out to replace the seal(s).

Thank you! The front was easy but this will be my first rear seal, is there anything to look out for while removing the axle shaft?

Youtube has some helpful videos. After removing the axle retainer bolt and pin, slide the axle inboard slightly to remove the "C" clip from the end of the axle shaft, (magnet works great) then pull the axle straight out being careful not to rotate the differential carrier, or bump the axle on the housing when removing it. When the axle is nearly out, catch the edge of the seal with the end of the axle, and pry the seal out, piece of cake.
