I have an 01 S10 Trailblazer, my power steering is in need of a overhaul. Where can I find a rack and pinion for my 01 blazer? I have looked for hours, does the part exist or am I looking for a unicorn or do I have to individually piece together my power steering.
Power steering fluid leaks all over the place, (stop leak fluids don't help, too far gone).

 

No Rack/pinion, Just a big meaty gearbox and a centerlink/pitman/idler arm configuration. It is a truck underneath after all. Also Welcome to the Forums! I also own an S10 Trailblazer though mine is a 1999, would love to see what yours looks like. my rig had a horrible P/S leak at one point also and it turned out to be the P/S Cooler, pull the airbox, remove the two lines that hook in for it and hook them directly together using a 3/8th (i believe) length of flared on both ends copper or whatever metal you can get your hands on tubing and see if that stops it.
