You’d be lucky to find it in a junkyard, although they do pop up on eBay. Iirc, the front is 33mm.

Update time! The ZQ8 box came to the junkyard today (it was transferred from another one) and it looks to be really clean! Here's a picture of both the old one on the left and the new one on the right. I'll update you guys as soon as it's in! I've also got a new pitman arm for it. How many dugas will it take to get it down to spec? I don't have a torque bar.

That came from a scrap yard?

do they have bidet's in their washrooms? That looks like it's been rebuilt.

very good score, keep us updated with a performance test after a few test drives.

hahaha! I don't know!! It looks like it's in immaculate condition, the arm I pulled off of it was brand new, and the install was quite easy. Not to mention it was so clean and free of oil they painted the junkyard part number on the side. I just can't seem to get all of the air out of the system! I'm gonna let it sit till tomorrow and see if that helps. I have it off the ground in the front and am going lock to lock and air keeps coming out. I've probably done it like 40 times so I'm not quite sure...

Turned it 80 more times and got one hell of a workout. The pump kept bubbling even after all those turns! So I decided to turn the thing on and the car made a god awful noise. It was so loud it hurt my ears and I swear I can still hear it right now... I quickly turned the wheel lock to lock several times before turning the car off. Then I filled it up once more and repeated till no bubbles came out. However the fun had just started. I started trouble shooting the noise and thought it was a loose belt. So I bought a new tensioner and belt and put them on. After putting them on, the car kept throwing the belt off and trying to feed it to the mechanical fan. I tried realigning the pulleys and it would not work. So I gave up and went inside. Later that day I pulled out every thing including the new power steering pump and realigned the pump's rear bracket and held the pump straight with force while installing the bracket bolts. After putting everything back together, and applying the belt once more, the car started with no issues and the steering feels great on the driveway. It would seem you have to be very careful when install new PS pumps and make sure they are perfectly straight! I have not taken it for a test drive yet as its night and the front headlights are currently out of the vehicle. I'll update you in the morning after I take it for a drive!!

Today will be the day. I'm going to a flat location to measure the chassis height and then I'll go for a ride around town and test the new ZQ8 box!

zq8 boxes are nice. You’ll definitely notice the difference if it’s the real deal. Did you confirm if it’s actually a zq8 box? What’s the code on the end cap? How many turns lock to lock?

I haven't looked to see if it was a real zq8 box but I definitely can feel a difference. Currently the rear end is 2inches above the front and way out of alignment so it'll probably feel better when it can drive straight!
