I got a little over enthusiastic one wet rainy day and ever since my locker barely works if at all. So almost a year down the road i have pulled my diff cover and started messing with it. I can make the flyweight claw thing engage the "paw" by hand. When i do the locks the wheels but if someone grabs the other wheel it is easily overpowered and they can stop it. This is all done with just 2 people turning each tire. I have been looking at how this thing works and feel like i have a little understanding, one possibility is my clutches are shot. The other thing that bugs me is the flyweights will turn freely from the shaft they are on. From the "how it works" video that doesn't seem right. Is it supposed to be fixed to its shaft?

I'm fixing to pull out the chunk today, any help is appreciated

 

i just pulled it out, my flywieght got alittle banged up. I didn't see it last night when i first looked at it. Now I found out my carrier doesn't seem to have the holes to punch out the flyweight and the paw...
