Rag joint replacement

I have a 89 chevy k5, I need to replace the rag joint in the steering. I've never messed with the steering before just wanted to find out if its just a unbolt, bolt back in deal or do I have to pull the whole column out any help or tips in replacing this part would help. Thanks
