Default Rear shocks

My car is a Blazer LT 4-door 96-model. Lately I have noticed a strange sound from the rear of the car when I start it up. I checked underneath and noticed that one of the shocks was leaking oil. The sound came from an air pump that is hooked up to each rear shock. Seems to be an automatic load adjustment device for the shocks, there is a level switch that shuts off the pump when the car is raised to the correct height. I think that because one of the shocks is defective the pump just keeps on running untill a timer shuts it off after approx. 5 min. Normally the pump is running for 5-10 seconds.
My repair shop informed me that these shocks were no longer available from GM. Do I just install ordinary shocks and disconnect the air pump or do I have other options?

Default RE: Rear shocks

Monroe Max-Air Shocks. You may have to do some work with the air line connection, but they'll work just the same as the originals once hooked up.
