Default removing an axle

I dont know alot about this car, but my girlfriends dad told me the axle to her car needs to be replaced. I told her i would do it, but i dont want to mess anything up. Anyone have just a basic way to explain how the entire rear axle could be taken of a 1995 v6 chevy blazer with 4 wheel drive?

they are pretty simple... in theory. cliffs notes basically just jack the truck up to take the weight off the axle. drain the fluid, disconnect brake lines, disconnect the driveshaft, disconnect the vent hose then remove or cut the ubolts holding the axle to the springs. your not supposed to reuse those anyways as they stretch.

and thats about it. you have to slide it out over the springs, probably take the drums off to save you on some weight. ive only done axles on the older s10s so hopefully its still that easy, also look for abs wires or any other garbage they tacked on in the later years
