removing n replacing shifter cable

just wondering how hard it is to replace the shifter cable, never done it b4

Is the cable actually broke or not adjusted properly? adjusting it is easy, but in the steering column looks to be a pain for replacement.

Default removing n replacing shifter cable

when removing a shifter cable where should u start? at the transmission or the coloumn and same for replacing
