Default replaced all steering parts

Hello, I just got done replacing all my front end parts.I have a '97 4x4, 4 door blazer. The steering was all over the place and it sounded like an old bed spring when I would go down the street, so I replaced my control arm bushings (upper and lower). I took the arms to Napa and they pressed them out and the new ones in. I replaced the idler arm and pitman arm, the tie rod ends, and the ball joints. I took the steering box off and worked on it on my bench. I thought it would just be easier to do. As it tunred out, it was. I was worried about the pitman arm, but it went pretty smooth. I rented a puller from Auto Zone and it was a piece of cake. Amazing what the right tool will do for you. Sorry I dont have pics but my hand were constantly full of grease. I replaced both half shafts too.I did all this on my driveway, as my garage is, shall we say, occupied with my familys overflow. I need to get a front end alignment, but the difference in steering is unbelieveable, its so much tighter and smoother. Im glad its done, but Im really glad I did it. If your on the fence about doing it or paying someone to do it, I say do it yourself. You save TONS of money and you learn about your car.

with the control arm bushings...if you have some patience you can just pick away at the rubber the collapse the sleeve and they come right out. then tap the new ones in.

either way great job...nothing beats being able to do it yourself.
