Default rubber-safe penetrating lube

Can anyone recommend a good penetrating lubricant that's safe for rubber? My control arm bushings are squeaking like crazy and I've gone through a can and a half of silicone spray in the last week. It's helped a little, but doesn't seem to be getting all the way through. Much worse when it's wet and we've gotten a lot of rain lately. Not only is it irritating, it's embarrasing.

Join the club! I've had the same results with silicone and I don't know of anything better.

Everyone knows that good ol' PB Blaster pwns all comers in the "penetrating oil' game.

You may want to give that a shot as it's non-evaporating, displaces moisture, and rubber safe (ish)

You can also give PB 50, blaster's beefed up WD40 a stab. (its PB50...thats like 10 better!)

Ditto on PB Blaster, I use it all the time. If the bushings weren't such a pain to replace, I'd try it, but those guys are in there for the long haul now (only a year old...and hopefully the last set the truck gets). I know anything petroleum based will attack them - at least for the ones I'm familiar with, hence my question.

thats why I said give the PB50 a look. It's their silicon lube entry.
I'd just say F it and Blast away (petroleum vs polyurethane = a long fight to deterieration) but I also dont take very good care of my ride (hench the shop time...)
Next time your at an auto parts store, take a peak at the PB50, then if you want it, ask if they price match and tell them it's $1-$2 cheaper at walmart you just hate supporting a faceless corporation (or any such nonsense). you <-- FTW!

Super Lube.
It's synthetic, and costly but it won't harm anything.
The stuff is good.

Well the way I see it, 'rubber-safe lube'.... this thread went on far too long before SOMEONE jumped that opportunity. I couldn't hold back any longer.

You get an A for effort anyway. After being encouraged by what I read about Super Lube on their web site, I went out and found some during lunch. I'll post how it's working in a few days.
