Well, it's been more than a few days, but the squeak is gone. However, it was the ball joints not the control arm bushings. I'm still amazed it was the ball joints. I've had bushing squeaks in a lot of cars and it sounded exactly the same.
The frustrating thing is that I had all 4 ball joints replaced about 20K miles ago and only now discovered the guy didn't grease them...wonder how many miles I've lost from their expected lifetime.
