Sagging front leaf's....Normal?
I just picked up a 91 K5 and I am wondering if it is normal for the front springs to be bent downward at the ends. I had a 74 K10 longbed that had the same look to the springs. Is this a sign that the springs are shot? I did a search here but came up with nothing, maybe my search skills suck.....
the k5 blazers actually came with the front springs inverted from the factory. they are actually flat but when weight is applied they invert. i put a set of new rears on a k5 and used some crappy old ones i had laying around and it looked like a race car how high the rear was sitting. those things always sag.
heres a picture of a chevy k30 front springs. these are probably the worst i ever seen. they bottomed out on the plow bracket

stock k5 springs, then 4inch and 6inch in the back

Thanks for the info abig84. I kinda thought it might be normal as the Blazer is sitting pretty flat front to back.
Guess I will either have to get used to the look or put a lift on it when I get the $$$.
