Default Shackles on sagging leaf springs?

Hey everyone,

I'm pretty set on getting a pair of 2" shackles. My question is if my leaf springs are pretty much flat should I consider replacing them before installing shackles?

Any recommendations on shackles would be appreciated as well.

i know that your pretty set on shakles but if your leaf springs are worn out you can get a good set of add a leafs for like 86 bucks and it would raise you up like 2" in the rear but it would make your ride a bit stiffer but if you ever pull anything you'd be set

no, lmctruck has them as well as other suspension places, the add a leaf is cheapest as a new set of springs will run you $300 easy plus shipping..

I had a broken leaf and got a set of ok ones from the yard, they're still kinda worn out but they work fine for me and all in cost me under $180 with new bushings and bolts....

If I get an add a leaf and install the fabtech shackles I already have the truck would look pretty raked, even with a Tbar crank right?
