get a pickle fork from your parts store. just whack the **** out of it with a 5 pound sledge. I thought i was doing something wrong when i couldnt get it loose. Turns out sometime you do just have to hit it till it works. I suggest loosening the castle nut but dont remove it. That way when everything pops loose it stays controlled. I use a cut off wheel to cut off the rivets.

A BFH works wonders if used appropriately. I had problems with getting mine out of the LCA after getting the rivets out of the way. Luckily, I had pulled the LCA's (along with the UCA's) as I was replacing the bushings in it and could provide the appropriate amount of impact with said BFH in the precise area needed to remove them buggers.

thanks guys. Ya i used a BFH and whacked away till it finally popped loose. Tell you what the garage wanted $1000 to replace the upper/lower ball joints and cv joint. I replaced cv, upper/lower, and hub assembly for $275 in parts and 40 for beer. Time for the drivers side next week.
Thanks again.
Thanks again.
