Question shocks

My 97 blazer is very bouncy iv changes just the frount shocks is that just how they ride

I've got the same question, having just put two monroe sensa-trac's in the front and still have a somewhat soft ride.

did you ever fiqure out the reason for the bouncy ride??

To the op, you never specified what shocks you bought. Some shocks have a softer ride than others. Personally I like stiff shocks (monotube) like the Monroe Reflex. A degree of bouncing is normal though. How many bounces are we talking about?
