Default shocks, plus possible ball joints

my 2000 blazer Lt 4x4 is pulling to the right slighty causing me to hold the steering wheel to the left slightly to go striaght. IT doesn't make noise when i turn. its not the tires. I put new tires on and it ran straight, but after awhile it starts to pull again. I was told by a couple people to try shocks and/ or ball joints. I did shocks and It helped a little. and ball joints can be expensive to get done/ can be hard to do. Is there anything else that can be done to fix it or is it the ball joints. any tips. plus does anybody know a good brand of shocks to get. I wasn't to satisfied with my last pair. Thanks for the help and sorry for a long post.

Shocks wont affect lateral pull. Worn tie rods will also cause a pull. If you havent had them replaced in a while you might need too. Inspect your ball joints, as the original ones will be riveted in. This will tell you if you have the original factory ball joints. When I got my truck it had 295,000 K and the passenger side ball joint was original!

What Vader said is right on. I would replace your ball joints/tie rods, if not you're going to ruin the new tires you have. Just make sure after you do the ball joints and tie rods to rotate the tires also. Ball joints are not cheap, but having to buy new tires sooner due to cupping and uneven wear from ball joints/tie rods can be even more costly.
