should my spline from my steering box to the shaft look like this? if so iv never seen on like it.

No, it has slipped back some, loosen the bolt and push it on all the way

maybe i should be more informative.. i had sliped it off to try to adjust it. im asking if the spline should look like that. look like it has a ring wear on it and that flat part....

Ohhh, that flat spot is there to align the shaft so its harder to put the wheel on crooked. There is another flat spot on the shaft

Mine looked like that, except I don't recall the ring wear on it.. I HATED putting that thing back in.
