skid plate
On a 98 Blazer 4x4 LS I need to replace that plastic cover that has the door for access to the oil filter, with a metal cover/ skid plate. Does the ZR2 model have one, is there an after market part or do I need to make one?

Not really after market support that I know of...LMC truck might offer an aluminum one. ZR2s have composite skid plates and some older ones have aluminum...but...being a ZR2, they won't fit a non-z blazer.
