I know, I know, I'm just stressing about nothing; but it's my 1st truck and my 1st 4x4 repair!
Send a little "mojo" my way for my 2000 Blazer who is about to have her transfer case encoder motor and transfer case control module replaced.
Every time I went to choose one of the 4 4x4 buttons on the dash, she blew a fuse. My mechanic traced it down to the module. And for good measure, I'm replacing the encoder motor.

Just to let you folks know; (which I'm sure you know already!) E-Bay is a veritable GOLD MINE for Blazer parts. There's a S/10 Blazer store by itself!

I got these 2 parts for a song!! $189.00 for the encoder and $199.00 for the module.

Those are easily 5-600.00 dollar dealer items!!

Nice looking truck. Good luck with the repair. I hope, for your sake, that these parts cure your problem.
