is it easier to just replace all the components of the steering linkage at once rather than doin like pitman arm and idler??.. then doin the rest ??? or take it all off and did it from scratch ?????

I would recommend just replacing what is bad. Have a friend rock the steering back and forth and you look under at all the joints. Any play in the tie rod ends, idler or pit-man arms is grounds for replacement. Also don't forget to use your hand and try to move the idler arm up and down . again any play at all and you replace it. If you were to do all the steering components i would suggest a front end alignment after since im sure the toe adjustment of the front tires would be off after replacing all those parts.

well i know the pit and idler r wore but after looking at the procedure in doing just those two i figured it would just be as easy to build another completely and install it.. just a thought ?? but it would be a little easier on the ol wallot but she 21 years old and alot of the parts iam replacing latly are original.. i definately use the ol girl alot and rough at times lol ...
