Default Steering Cranked; Right Side Drops

'98 GMC Jimmy 4x4 4 Door

Some odd steering behavior. When I crank the wheel to the right all the way, the right side drops a considerable amount.

When I crank it to the left, nothing happens except when I wiggle the steering wheel I get a loud popping from around the steering box area.

Haven't had a chance to look into it quite yet. I can probably find the popping issue, but the dipping I'm not so sure about. Also have a vibration that occurs on the right side when I either hit a small bump (enough to get the front end up a little) or mainly when I'm turning right and digging in on the right tire. I suspect the hub is bad.

Thoughts?

I put brand new links on not too long ago. Do I have them tightened incorrectly then?
