steering damper on 2000
do i have a one of these on my 4x4? i discovered my idler arm has play in it while checking my ball joints. as i was looking up the procedure to replace idler arm i noticed a section steering damper if im supposed to have one i dont think there is one on my Blazer
The normal 2nd gen S-series Blazers don't come with a steering stabilizer. There is a mount on the frame where you can mount one but the drag link doesn't have a hole for it. There are ways around that if you want a steering stabilizer.
I believe that the ZR2's, or at least some years of them, came with steering stabilizers from factory.
