Default Bilstien vs. Monroe shocks

I have been searching and cannot find a thread on this issue with shocks. Sorry in advance if there is one (probably didn't look hard enough.)
I need to replace my shocks on my blazer front/rear. I found out that the factory had Bilstien shocks on the blazer. The ones that are on there right now is Monroe Sensatrac shocks. I know Monroe's are cheaper than Bilstien by a landslide. But would it be worth going back to Bilstien rather than Monroe shocks?
I have heard Bistien is better and vise-verse.
Thanks for responses.

Of the threads I've read before making my purchase, most that have the Bilsteins say they're really stiff and give a harsh ride. I bought Monroe Reflex Monotube shocks. They're a couple steps up from the Sensatracs.
Here's where I got 'em.

I purchased Monotube also but have nothing to compare to. Often I wish they had more rebound damping without more compression damping. Disclaimer,! I stay ON ROAD, and drive around mud at all times!
