Steering is out.

Steering is out.
My steering wheel is out a little. For me to drive down the road straight I need to have the wheel turned a little to the left. It is tight and doesn't pull because wherever I leave the wheel it heads perfectly in that direction. Not too long ago I replaced the pitman arm which included taking the steering box off. Is there any adjustment? Should I try moving the shaft a spline over. I dont remember it being off right after the pitman arem job and alinment. Also my brother was mentioning that on his 97 fullsize pickup it has some sort of variable steering assist and sometimes the sensors need cleaned. Do we have this? Thanks

Well I had it recently done at sears. It was fine after the alinment which was after the pitman arm job. It is still under warrenty so I guess I will take it back.
P.S. the nearest town fair tire to me is 357 miles away. he he

Lol, Heck yes they are. Thats what i run and they are far from cheap tires, but you can't beat them.

if you removed the Steering Shaft from the box you may not have lined it up where it was to begin with. I'd start there.
