Can anyone tel me what the part # or the actual part name for the part that connects the steering colum to the steering gear box? i was told it was called a rag joint but i think that is wrong. Someone please help!

Rag joint is the common term for this component.

 

ok, thanks, is this a dealer only part? cause when i went to advance they gave me a part that they said was the only one available and it was 4 times bigger.

This should not be a dealer only part, but I would suspect that it is not stocked normally at any retailers...
