Default Steering Return - Gearbox Question

I recently had the steering gearbox replaced in my 98 Blazer, since it's been replaced, the steering wheel no longer returns to center after cornering. It will hold the turn unless you turn it back to center. Is there an adjustment to get it to work correctly again? My local Les Schwab changed the gearbox a few months back and said "it's just tight now". I agree, it is a lot better, but it should return to neutral after cornering. I'd like to fix it cause it just doesn't seem right anymore.
