steering stabilizer

Default steering stabilizer

would a steering stabilizer help with makeing my steering tighter. and if so is it hard to put on

I don't think it will make your steering tighter. I believe a steering stabilizer is more used when you lift a vehicle to make it so the steering doesn't slop around when you hit larger bumps, railroad tracks, etc.

They help alot on wider tires to keep the for wobbling back and forth at highway speeds. That happens a lot more on older trucks. I don't think it will tighten the sterring though. That could be from loose u-joints in the steering colum to a worn out steering box.

Agreed. The loose steering is actually slop in the mechanism. The actual parts are not wobbling back and forth (usually). It will dampen out the small movements of the wheels coming back up to the steering wheel though.
