steering wheel pulls like a flat tire ... no tire problems
I have a 89 S-10 blazer and had it break down on the highway recently turns out it was a frayed brake line. Got that fixed and my son in law replaced the axle boot.? .
It was fine for a week... and then after driving about 90 miles one day it started the whop whop again no noise but that sensation of a flat tire in the steering.. it was pulling the steering wheel to the right like a flat tire would but then started this shaking wobbling on the right side so bad I got it off the road. I let it sit and then after that it wobbled at about 10 miles an hour. got it home then now it is not doing it but then again it hasn't been drove far and for a weekand not over 30 since the wobble incident. Any ideas folks? before I take to a shop to be looked at this week.. I guess whatever the problem is is intermittent.. its driving me crazy and my son in law can't get it to do it but then again its not when thetruck is first drove... I am going crazy....[:@]my blazer has boocoo miles on it 212,000 and this is the first trouble its had... thanks for any info anyone can offer....

RE: steering wheel pulls like a flat tire ... no tire problems
sounds like a Brake caliper is going bad, hanging up on the slide bar... take off the front calipers, lightly put a lube on the part where the caliper slides, if its that it may help, it has an overheating problem in the brake system from the way your describing it... make sure your actually getting brake fluid to both front calipers,,,Start with thepassenger front caliper, take out the bleeder screw, let the caliper gravity bleed... Check to make sure the bleeder screw while ya have it out is not clogged which i`m sure prob is... If it is clogged get a small drill bit and with your finger spin the bit thru the screw and get the dirt out of it. blow it out if ya have to..put it back in and then do the drivers side the same way, make sure if ya try this, please post your outcome, so we dont have to keep guessing at if it fixed it or not- Good Luck with the repair...

Also your rotor might be warpped causingthe caliperto hang.

Check all of the above. Also check ball joints and tie rods.
