Suspension blues
Hey new to the site and just recently bought a 2000 blazer zr2. Love the car but as I was driven it home noticed that only 75% of the brakes were grabin and there was a clunkin noise comin from my drives front tire. So I tore apart
the brakes and got the pistons to move back, so I through it back together and checked the suspension parts only to notice that the upper ball joint was bad. Replaced that and going to replace the caliper because the brakes are still not grabbin on that side. Long story short my problem is the top of the tire bows out when I hit the brakes moving forward but not while rollin back. I believe that everything suspension wise is good on that side any thoughts. Thanx

did you check the shocks? front tires bow out when braking in forward direction cause momentum puts all the trucks weight on the front suspension. Vise versa when you drive in reverse. possible bad shock on one side may make it feel like no brake because its bottoming out or compressing the suspension further and easier than the other side.
