I got an 07 TBSS transfer case and a 4x4 Blazer. Only connector on the transfer case is a speed sensor. I have found that input/output shaft splines are the same, both have 5 bolts to the adapter. I know this doesnt seem like a street/strip thing as of yet, but this is the start. I'm just wondering if I need to think of anything else for this part. Any input is appreciated.
I actually think you should be good to go. There's less connections because all of the power transfer and splitting happens automatically internally in the transfer case. You'll have a "service 4x4" light on in the cluster with everything unplugged, and if you have a 3 button 4x4 switch you'll have to work out a way to engage the front diff manually since the vacuum selector won't be there any more with the TBSS t-case, if you have a 4 button then you don't have to worry about that but you'd still either just have to hit the 4x4 button to lock in the front diff or rig up another manual way to do it. Or just bolt on a Bravada AWD tube and axle shaft to your carrier and not worry about that at all lol.
There's a dude on YouTube that's got a build I've been watching, building a wicked twin turbo LS AWD old body style S10, and so far he's using a stock TBSS t-case and stock S10 front carrier. Not sure how that carrier is holding up to the power he's putting to slicks, but it is lol
