is there a way to manually shift it into 2wd at all check all the vaccuum line and they all look good but i did notice there is one open line that goes no where cant find any ports its by the booster new the abs. and i dont have the vaccuum ball that everyone talks about did they not use that set up in the 2000 blazer lt

This is hard to explain but i'll try my best. Directly behind and below the abs on the wall of the engine bay is a vacuum nipple, you cant see it and will have to feel in that area to find it. If that one is connected it could be the one that goes to the manifold right below the intake pipe.

ok i think i know the one your talking about. i'll try to take pictures tomorrow to better show you. thanks guys so much for all the info

does one of the vacuum lines go to the heater control? and do you have to remove the front drive shaft for the t-case motor if so how do i go about doing so

can i drive my blazer without the front drive shaft and t=case motor in it or will it leak fluid

I'm haveing the same problem.dont mean to hijack yours .. I have a 2001 blazer .Ls when I hit 4hi I hear clicking coming from passenger side kick panel .the light flashes and goes back into 2hi I hear no sound coming from the tranfer case i put in neutral and hit 4low same thing clicking in kick panel no sound from tranfer case i have all imdercater lights but wont swich just go back to 2hiI have good vacume new tccm good Power please god help me worked fine and few months ago and boom nothing I'm lost and dumb founded I'm 52 and do all the work on my vechiles my self always have but I'm stumped on this one

This thread is ten years old!

The TCCM fuse on my '98 is the 10 amp courtesy lamp fuse found on the left side of the dash. There is also a 4WD fuse under the hood. The system can be reset by removing both fuses, waiting some period of time, replacing the fuses, and turning the ignition to run 5 times before starting the vehicle. For me, this reset procedure seemed to repair 4WD temporarily ie one shift and that's it.

You could work through the diagnostic procedures provided in the tech articles to pinpoint the problem.

I've tried the 5 time thing and nothing lights still just flash and I hear the clicking under passenger kick panel no matter if I do 2hi 4 hi or 4low .just clicking in kick panel nothing from tranfercase .am I missing something 2001 blazer new tccm .it seems to not getting thing to case what should I do next .please help

Did you figure out the solution? I have the same problem. The clicking sound is a relay in the TCCM. I replaced the relays but still have the same problem. I don't want to buy a new TCCM if I don't need to,
