Default Tie Rod End Boots Keep Splitting

I have a problem with my tie rod end boots splitting, both boots on driver and passenger side tie rods. I have a 4 wheel drive 95 blazer. The last time I put new ones on I think were just the cheapest price at orielly's. Can anyone help me with some info on which brand of boots wont split as quick? and do I go with the round boots or the octagon style? any info will be very much appreciated.

cheapest is just that
if you grease it till the grease comes out ,death to both boot and tie rod
when greasing you should stop at the slightest movement of the boot

That might explain why the split. I filled to much with grease. And bought the cheap ones. Im looking at getting energy suspension tie rod boots. Made out of polyurathane. I know thats spelled but oh well. Is that a decent brand for my blazer? And does it matter if they are round or octagon?

anything poly is awesome. Not sure how they help tie rod ends, other then durability. the cheapy ones are ok,just dont over fill them.

if your only replacing them because the boot is split, save yourself some money a use a good quality grease
Ball joint and tie rod boots being split is not that uncommon
If your using good grease and greasing it regularly, it will help keep the moisture out of there
