Unhappy Tie rod ends

Greetings,
I have a 1999 4.3L Blazer 2WD and the tie rod ends are bad, Should I do the center link and Idler arm while I'm at it? Will it just be a waste of money.
I was thinking about doing the upper and lower ball joints as well because they are showing some wear.
Is this a tough job, how long do you thing it should take? I've never done it before... but can't afford to have someone else do it very broke.
Thanks.

Center link... No...

Idler arm... Yes. I would check the pitman arm as well to see if it has excessive play in it.

Tie rods are a piece of cake. Same with the idler arm. Pitman can/is a PITA. Ball joints depend on whether that have been replaced before of not.

I rebuilt my entire front end last year, not because it was bad (only one ball joint needed replaced) but because of the miles and years I had on it. Depending on your situation, just replace what really needs it or go all out and not have to worry about your front end for a few more years.

Wow...just joined the forum to ask the same exact question! I knew my tie rod ends were bad because I live down a dirt road, and driving on it for the past 4 years has really taken its toll on my front end. Now I can save the 4 trips to the auto parts store by just getting everything at once.
