To change your torsion key you need to hold the key in place with a c-clamp or a special torsion bar tool (which is really just a c-clamp with a *** to keep it in place). Take the bolt out, remove the metal plate/nut that the bolt goes through, then just slowly loosen the c-clamp. From there you'll find a small hole on the rear of the cross-member. Take a drift and hit the end of the torsion bar through the hole. This will detach the torsion bar from the car...then just replace your key and do the exact opposite.
You may need two c-clamps. It is definitely helpful.

I have done this with C-clamps before and I do not recommend it. It is very dangerous. The heavy duty C-clamps I bought bent and were very unstable. I would recommend buying or renting the proper tool, I would never do this again without it.
