Default torsion bar problem

i replaced some parts including the lower control arms. i removed the lower control arms, torsion bars, and torsion bar crossmember all as one piece since they were coroded so badly. when i removed everything the front end didnt sag at all it was where it should have been, the key bolts were screwed in almost all of the way. i put it all back together the way i took it apart but the front end sits all the way down on the control arm bumpers. im hoping maybe somebody here might have an idea of what im not figuring out. thankz for any help

sounds like you may be off a notch on either the key or the lower control arm when you reinstalled the torsion bars

i had the lower control arm disconnected from the steering knuckle put the torsion bar into the arm in the notch where the key was horizontal then tightened the key bolt and attached the control arm to the steering knuckle. if i would of put the torsion bar in the notch in the control arm clockwise i wouldnt be able to install the key because it wanted to face up too much and if i would of put the bar in counterclockwise one notch the key would face down too much to get the bolt in. i tried those just to make sure i had it in right. now that i think of it i didnt make sure i put them on the side of the car they came off of although i doubt that would make a difference

There is a right and left. If I recall mine had L and R on the end.

You are using the tool to take the tension off the keys right?
