Default Transfer Case 4hi position for shift motor

I was curious if anyone could tell me how to figure out how to tell what position my t-case is in. I'm going to be installing a new shift motor. I read it should be in 4hi position for install..thanks for any info

I've never personally worked on any of the electric t cases. Take a look here https://blazerforum.com/forum/2nd-ge...-module-63553/ and here https://blazerforum.com/forum/tech-a...ill-help-7180/
hopefully those will help.
