Default Transfer case fluid

I have a 1999 4 wheel drive Chevy Blazer.
A friend is going to change the tranfer case fluid for me.
What kind do I get and how many quarts?
Thank you for your help.

4 button = Autotrac 4x4 (Blazers aren't awd). Takes Autotrak II fluid from a GM dealer, 2 quarts and it will be a blue liquid.

Just found this the other day, Royal Purple recommends Synchromax as a suitable sustitute. It maybe easier to obtain. Royal Purple Transmission Lubricant Chart click manual transmission and look down the chart it list the autotrak part number.
