I have 2000 2wd blazer with 178000 and I think I might have a trans problem. It's only first gear though. If I gun it from a stop it doesn't really get up and go. It revs real high but then itshifts kinda hard into second and starts to pull pretty good. It like as if the first gear doesnt engage all the way. Buti dunno alot about trans. Any help will be appreciated.

 

Does it shudder or have a bad vibration when that happens? That would mean the trans is slipping for some reason

 

No it doesn't. It's almost like it's staying in first to long.
