U-joints

Default U-joints

I could use some help I have never done u joints ever. So on my 94 s10 blazer i have 4wd but there are 2 different type of u joints i guess there is press on or screw on joints how do i know which ones i need now i am buying moogs so there actually have two different ones for my truck so is there something i can look at to see if i have press ons or screw ons any help would be appreciated.

i have never seen screw in u-joints in my life, i couldnt imagine those ever being easy to get out with all the rust.

you need either a big vise or a ujoint/balljoint press to press them out of the driveshaft. if you dont feel comfortable doing them just pull out the driveshaft and bring it to a driveshaft place. most are pretty cheap and will just charge you like 75 bucks for parts and labor

sorry cant go into detail at the moment how to push them off, bout to clock back in at work

I figured they are press on my buddy said he can help me he said we will drop the driveaxle heat them and press them out with this ball joint tool and press them back in I really do appreciate the advice thanks again I'll keep you updated with everything I should be doing them this weekend
