uhhh ohh stuck in 4wd!!

Default uhhh ohh stuck in 4wd!!

so i was mudding and it was in 4wd and then the service 4wd light came on. the 4wd controls are not lite up anymore. what should i check out first? i checked the fuse. what next?

What year and model? 2000? If you have the auto push buttons, 3 or 4 button, I'd suspect the transfer case shift motor. That's what it was for me -- '99 Blazer LS. Check your trouble codes if applicable.

its a 4 button, 00 ls zr2. i changed the controler switch, not it.. but i disconnected every thing and its now in 2wd agian, and it wont go in or nothing, the controler switch is still not lite up. now what?

If you have the 4 button switch, search for NV236. You should find a lot of infromation regarding diagnosis of the system.
