Default Upper - lower Ball joint

Hey, my mecanics told me my ball joint were dangerously loose and wheel was shaking a lot on lift but I've just add grease in them (4 shoot up and 5 shoot down on both sided, no more shakink,

Do ya think what he tought as a bad part was mostly just a missing of grease? New cars dont have zerts but I do and does adding greace once in a while is ok to keep rinning those sets off ball joint?

No.. sorry! Grease will fill the cup and quiet things a bit, but wont hold your car up. I assume your lower joints were creaking or squeaking. Once they do that just a matter of time.

Big difference. The lower supports the weight of the vehicle, the upper controls the suspension and steering geometry. I've run loose uppers on my thunderbird, but I definitely dont recommend it.

If it does come loose you will lose a lot of steering and braking control, possibly all braking for the front and that's not a good thing to happen at the same time.
