Vacuum hose from transfer case goes where?
I have a 99 Chevy Blazer ZR2. I have a vacuum hose hanging under the truck. The hose is about 1/2" in diameter and one end is connected to the top of the transfer case very near the electronic shift motor for the 4wd. The other end went up the passenger side of the motor and that is where it ends.....thanks to it resting on the manifold, and the rest of the hose appears to be missing for some reason. I've searched for hours now for a diagram that will show me what it attaches to but can't find one that explains what and where this hose attaches too. Any help would be much appreciated.
If this is the largest of the three hoses I believe this is a vent tube. I have three tubes zip tied to the transmission dipstick tube. If I am correct the other two are vacuum lines, one is for transfer case vacuum and the other I believe goes back to the vacuum actuator under the battery. The vent tube ends just about where the transmission dipstick is visible. It has a cap at the top that stops debris from entering the line in most cases.
