Default Vibration in rear end (bad)

Bad vibration in rear end as speed increases. Right side hot after drive to work. Took off caliper, there is play in axle 1/2 inch. Axle problem?

Could be a bad axle bearing. Do you have any gear oil leaks there as well?

Reason I ask, is I had a lot of play in one axle shaft once. The axle shaft itself had worn to the point where it was loose on the bearing, and would wobble around, kill the bearing and seal, and leak gear oil

I never noticed any vibrations, though.
