I have a 99 Blazer ZR2 and wanna know what my options are to fit 33" tires.

 

I dont think adding a 2" body lift is gonna cut it. You're gonna have to spend some cash and go with a 5" or 6" suspension lift.
You could install a 3" body lift for an older blazer and let your bumpers be a inch lower than the body but I still think that will not be enough.

 

I've got 33X10.5 ATs on stock rims with a 2" BL, 2" shackles and a slight tbar crank. Had to do some minor trimming front and rear. No rubbing on road. On full compression offroad up front I am hitting the fender well and will be doing more trimming once I put some 33X12.5 MTs on 15X8 rims with 5.5" of back spacing.

If you don't want to do any trimming plan on getting either the BDS 5" lift or the SL 6" lift.

 

Well i have 31x10.5x15 on the truck now and i am planing on doing the Superlift 2inch lift kit and a 2 inch body lift. will this combination work?

 

I drove around on a set of borrowed 33"s on my wheels for about a week. It will work but you are gonna be banging the rears of the front fenders and rubbing the frame. The problem that I had with that is I like to actually go off road.

 

Keep in mind the op has a zr2 (31s were stock) adding 2" bl and suspension would work I would think, but don't just take my word for it i've never had a zr2 nor do I know a lot about them, but if 2+2 allows us regular blazer folks to fit what you had stock I would think the same would give you enough to add 2" on your tires.

 

Look over on ZR2usa.com there lots of people running 33x12.5 on zr2's. I plan on doing it this summer as soon as i start working again (in school now). Most people run a 2 inch body lift and 1.5/2 inch lift shackle with a little t-bar crank up front. You will have to do some trimming, over on that site Jigg has a good write up about how to do some trimming. I plan on going with a pa 3inch body lift in order to avoid a little bit of trimming but im sure i will still have to. Most people only rub on the front bumper or valance i personally like the look of that bottum valance removed some people like to do that.

Or there is a different set of flare that u can get there mikes flares lots of info on that site about them, they will give u lots more room to stuff those tire to.

But again the 5inch or 6 inch lift would be the way to go if u can afford it. still may have to trim with just a 5inch lift though off road at least.

If u only run a 33x10.5 rather then 33x12.5 then its a little easier less trimming may just require a bodly lift and no shackles but that depends if u like the look of that size tire. There a little to skinny if u ask me but that just my opinion (pizza cutters)

Also it depends on what rim u are going to run with the stock rim u will have less rubbing on the flares but at full lock (wheel turned) u will rub on the sway bar.
