Default What Rear End for 99 Bravada?

My stock rear end is shot, grinding and whining galore. 164K miles and it's totally rusty. I searched for this info but didn't find it... what rear ends will fit my 99 Bravada with no changes? I don't care to upgrade to an 8-1/2" unless no other changes are needed. Thanks!

98 and newer rear differentials from any non zr2 blazer jimmy or bravada will fit. Check your rpo codes in the glove box for your ratio. They start with the letter G.
G80= gov lock, factory posi
GT4= 3.73
GT5= 4.10
GU4= 3.08
GU6= 3.43

Got another question: Rusty said '98 and up; does that include, say, the very latest Blazers such as 2014?? (think: very late-model, totally unrusty rear end but also, probly, $$$$ instead of $1xx or $2xx)

I'm finding plenty of rear ends listed on car-parts.com for Bravadas but I could expand my search to Blazers which I'm sure I'd find in my local Yardes. My problem is I'm hard-of-hearing and can't converse on the phone, so I have to have my son call for me. He doesn't have all that much time to do so during the daytime.

And what was the name of the other junk Yarde web search service besides Car-Part.com--Used Auto Parts Market

Thanks!

The last year for American blazers is 2005. The last year for American bravadas and jimmys 2001. Others may fit but those are the ones I'm sure of.
