97 Bravada rear end on on s10 leafs won't fit the drive shaft in now

Exclamation 97 Bravada rear end on on s10 leafs won't fit the drive shaft in now

97 bravada thats been lowered and cut up i'm trying to make it safe.It was slammed turned to two drive and crappy c-notch so i put stock s10 1st gen spindles and springs in it got the front up,now the rear end i have gotten 1st gen leafs they measure to the same from the line up pin to the rear just like the ones i took out but the drive shaft wont go in to the trans its about 2ins from where it should be , i was thinking that I would cut the pin holes under the rear end and almost make the adjustable from front to back but will it mess something up can someone HELP PLEASE I NEED THIS SUV SAFE
