I'm in the same boat as you guys. I've gotten some answers but nothing simple. My blaze is my only vehicle so I have to be careful how drastic the mod is

Probably the best way to get 2 inches of lift without causing any wear issues is going to be a body lift. Its simple enough that anyone can really do it with some good hand tools and it will take most of a saturday afternoon. You can go other routes with torsion bar crankups and shackles or add-a-leafsand whatnot but take into considderation that the torsion bar crankup will cause front end component wear which is not the best for a daily driver. Now myself im accepting the risk but only because i watch my ball joints and other front end parts like a hawk (every oil change gets a full inspection) and because my blazer will be a trail truck/grocery getterprimarily by the end of the year (well that and my drive to work will only be 2 miles then).
