Default Wheel Bearing

How do i know if my wheel bearing is gone? The reson i suspect it is gone is because when im driving it and i hit a small bump my hole truck starts to vibrate like crazy from the front passenger side but if i make the truck to a complet stop it goes away and also when im driving i can hear a strange noise coming from that spot

thanks !

Actually, that could be a bad shock combined with a slight imbalance in the tire.

Typically, when a wheel bearing goes bad, it will start to growl. It will make more noise when turning away from the bad wheel bearing.

yup, a humming, whirring sound & when you turn away from the bad side (more pressure on that bearing - it's the outside wheel in a turn) it makes more noise because it's fubar'd
had my PS one go twice, not sure why that side twice, but I know the sounds lol

another way to check is to drive awhile, 30 mins or ?, stop & feel both center caps or close to the center of the rim... the warmer one is usually the bad one, although that being said you may have brake issues as well or instead of IMO

<edit> could also be a tie rod end, ball joint... does it do it if you're just driving straight? a few bumps & no noise but any turn awakens it?
1st off I'd check & make sure the bearing is tight, torque is what, 180ft/lbs?! & make sure there aren't any weights missing from the rim, obvious signs like the rim is cleaner in a spot &/or the marks left by the missing weights on the rim
